So far I'm coming up with:

Efreeti + 2x Skullcleave + fodder

and

Efreeti + Thrall + Warhorse + Raistlin + fodder

Any other ideas?

When I first saw the efreeti I attempted to build:

2 Efreeti
Goblin Runner
4 Farmer

This allows you to take advantage of their teleport effect letting them flee to safety when cornered. Playing under on activations can be very dangerous though. Hopefully there will be some cheap fire figs for Civ coming out soon.

Looking for someone to cosponser a midwest DDM event. let me know if your interested!

Quite a few people have enjoyed two Efreeti.

I suppose you could do Efreeti + Tomebound Arcanist, that might be fun.

Efreeti + Yuan-Ti Malison x2 could be a fun multi-threat ranged band.

Titan + 3 hitters... ONI instead of skullcleave gets you more

Yep, this was one of my first thoughts, although this one scares me a bit too. The key? Don't miss much! A consecutive string of a few low rolls can put you in deep doo-doo quickly. Their teleport ability is really nice, but even an agressive opponent with speed bum-rushing you with everything can be trouble if you miss a couple of times early. Titans don't like missing attack rolls. Mounted opposition is their friend.

An interesting use for this guy is to combine him with some magical ranged.

Efreeti
Wiz O Turmish
Cormyrean WW
2 Greypeak Archers
2 Merch Guard
Human Sellsword/Insp. Shock Trooper

This turns it into a single-titan band, but with some decent support. The Efreeti's ranged should help out a bit, and the Turmish's auto-hit ongoing fire will help the Efreeti take advantage of the Teleport ability. Guards help the wizards take a hit or two, and the Archers just plink away.

As the efreeti is still pretty ranged centric you want to control activations. You can downgrade all 3 goblins to farmers and get points for another guard. I'd feel safer with this as you will likely be able to take out opposing tilegrabbers if you feel your getting down on points.

You also gain "cool band" points by playing a genie and a guy on a flying carpet...

I recently tried the Efreeti + Sheild Guardian and it worked ok.  It really extended the Efreeti's HP so he could lay out damage for more rounds. Â

Sadly though I found the Shield Guardian lacking something for the point cost.Â

both his att and his att on the stolen power need to be higher. Res 5 wouldn't hurt either.

I like the Efreeti+Thrall, I am not sure about Raistln, if he's the right guy for the job though. 42 points(includes the horse) could be used for a more reliable piece + more activations. Others have stated this just throwing my 2 cents in the hat.
