Hey guys, I don't post here often, but I'd much rather ask this here than WOTC.
1. Is the 3D Map Folio pack any good? I don't have the time to make my own scenery and don't really want to spend silly money on the Games Workshop stuff.
2. Are there and decent websites for fan made D&D Minis maps? There are a few for Star Wars Minis but I've not found any D&D ones.
Cheers.

To answer #1, I have a friend who has the 3D Map pieces....and they're amazing. I'm not sure what sets he has or if they're all from one, but it's phenomenal to see on the table. I'm gaming with him tonight so I'll find out and get back to you. I THINK it's the 3D Map Folio, but aren't 100% sure.

There are a few fan-made D&D maps, but as far as I know, there aren't any sites that host them.

the actual DnD set is pretty shabby. You can find online sites that sell better 3d paper products.
Looking for someone to cosponser a midwest DDM event. let me know if your interested!

If you don't mind using a knife and some glue, you can make your own 3-D environments with kits from this place: http://www.worldworksgames.com/ I bought their VillageWorks kit and I've been quite happy with the results from it.
