Nicely done, you might consider in the future having a standard mini in the photo at the same time to help get a sense of scale better. Perhaps something like a Cultist of the Dragon raising up the Fire Lord!

Built the addition for this addiction, now on to the "gaming table" project....

Amazing. Simply amazing.
I am so envy of you.
I work so hard trying to paint (and recently repaint) miniatures. I've read a thousand tutorials, spent far too much hours, and I can't even get close to something like this. This is just, well, a masterpiece.

I've seen some pretty nifty repaints since I've been dropping in over here, but that CotD is something else. Simply--wow!

The CotD makes a very nice counterpart to that magnificent elemental. It's almost beyond words. Were I a DM, my players would be SO sick of meeting their respective ends at the "hands" of the Elemental.

That thing must weight a ton.

Are you WotC guys looking at this?! You should be!

SK, I think what you mean is that fig is HOT HOT HOT!!! The color is awesome!! Very nice job indeed. So what are the materials that you used to make such a grand fire elemental?

The CotD put in to give a sense of size has a very nice repaint scheme as well....indeed very nice compliment...[:D]

Superb! Like eveyone else, wanting to know what you used to make it. Guessing a bulk epoxy of some sort. Hirst arts for bricks perhaps? That is definitely good for Kossuth (FR/D and D elemental god of fire). Would like to see more if you have them...especially if you have done the other elementals!

The white trim on the edges of the cultist are very effective in giving him a sense of active motion and life! and the color scheme that goes up and back down from white hot to black and back again is effective, especially with the Elemental as the backdrop. The mini really helps us appreciate the scale and size of the setting and elemental. Thanks for putting one in the shot.

After seeing how good of a paint job that CAN be done, I think that
I am going down to the basement and throwing away all of my paints.
Really though...I am very pleased to see such great work.
How long did it take to put together the entire package?

Bem feito, Arhurt.

Hey, portugues from Portugal and Brazil are very different [:D] I guess 5 years working for a Brazilian company paid off somehow [)] I can speak it and read it, I can't write it much.

I am usually aware of those differences between Portuguese in Brazil and Portugal and then I try to write/speak in the Brazilian manner when I am addressing someone who is from Brazil. The two biggest reasons that what I wrote isn't very clear are that I could not put any symbols in the words and it's been too long since I have used Portuguese regularly. I haven't been in Portugal since 1996.

I'm happy you like it guys, thanks a lot for all the compliments.

I still have a lot to learn, if I was to do another one, there would be a ton of things to do better.

He is made using epoxy putty, a brazillian brand named "Araldite Massa". I belive it is very similar to Brown Stuff (wich is less sticky then Green stuff).

I still have a lot to learn before taking comissions, I'll be working on a water elemental now, and I will try to do it so I can make a mould of it and distribute to the masses 8D

Thanks a lot again, stuff like this keeps me going!

I've seen some nice stuff done with clear resin recently. You make a base model and then make a silicon mold off of it. With the molds you can make quite a few copies of a clear resin mini.

The Fire Elemental & Diorama look real nice. I've got to get some of that Hirst stuff.

So this is going to be the trophy for the DDM tourny in Rio...hmm...a trip to Rio, chance to win this...sounds like I should call my travel agent and arrange a "business" trip of some kind.

Seriously, this would be worth travelling for. How long from start to finish? Must have taken forever.

Great work. ΖD]
