we agreed to a trade Apr 6. I mailed my end Apr 8. I have not heard from you since Apr 6 and I have not received a package. I have sent two emails in the meantime. I consider the status of this trade as in the "yellow" and any more time not hearing from you and not receiving package will make it shift into the "red".
Can you please let me know when you mailed my package or if you haven't (which I am assuming is the case since parcels take 6-9 days to go between us ) can you let me know when you will send it.

| Four months later I STILL dont have ANYTHING to show for my side of the transaction other than lots of assorted excuses. Several different excuses. Ranging from understandable to tear-jerkingly sad. Unfortunately one can only absorb so many excuses before one simply assumes one is being lied to. Anyway... I'm STILL waiting for the delivery confirmation number due "tomorrow" 5 days ago. Which was 4 days after the "I'll send it tomorrow when I cash my check". Which was after a nasty email I was forced to send threatening legal action, during which he had the sheer audacity to "dude" me in his response. Which was after many weeks where there was no response to my emails at all.
And yet he's had time to screw around with his new website, post things on this website, etc.
It's really all cost:benefit analysis.
Fortunately for CG suing the hell out of CG costs more in time, money, and energy than the value of my original property (not to mention interest).
Unfortunately for CG, posting my experiences with him on these forums costs me nothing. It possibly damages his reputation here (sorry, but I really dont care since it's his own fault it has come to this point) but more importantly, makes it more likely that he'll actually bother to resolve this whole transaction.
I've conducted over 300 online transactions via various forums with various people. This transaction has been by FAR the most unpleasant experience I've ever had with online commerce. Excuses, no communcation, delays, more excuses, more delays, more lack of communication, more excuses, more excuses, yet more excuses, etc etc etc. He's almost single-handedly convinced me never to engage in e-commerce again.
Really, I dont like being this nasty. Not at all. But polite patience has got ZERO results in this matter. If being nasty via emails and forums and such has no effect I'm perfectly willing to get nasty via the legal system. Filing a mail fraud complaint, filing complaints with local law enforcement agencies, etc, all fall well within the acceptable range of cost:benefit analysis.
Showing up at small claims court across the country costs more money than I'm willing to invest. Talking on the phone with some cops for an hour costs virtually nothing.
The thing I hate most about this entire business is that I've been forced to get this nasty about it. | |
