So I participated in my first Living Forgotten Realms campaign today at my FLGS. We played a moduled called 'Slivers of Eaerlann" which takes place in the Luruar region. I did very well with my Elven Ranger character, though I almost died and get this: I rolled a natural 20 on the death saving throw!! That was in the final encounter too. What was funny was that our party was all strikers (3 out of 5 were rangers) and a controller.

is the forgotten realms good in 4E?

I'm new to the Realms myself, other than from the novels I've read, so I don't know much about it. We were in the town of Silverymoon for awhile, and were exploring this elven tomb that had a lot of references to Corellon Larethian. I will try to answer any specific questions if I can.

I am playing LFR adventures too beginning with this last GenCon. I play a Water Gensai Swordmage (awesome class...needs some errata!) At GenCon I played the Baulders Gate adventure and am currently playing at home with the adventure taking place in Waterdeep (Heirloom I believe). These adventures are quick, usually 4 hours, and are pretty straightforward. So far I prefer these than the "Living" 3.5 Eberron adventures. I plan on running a few as well in the coming weeks and find these a better fit for my group than one long campaign.
