| In order to shame myself back into completing wargames projects I'm starting this thread.Â
Post your crafter's corner related project or projects for the month of October. Then when September rolls around I'll start a new thread for folks. I think it will be a nice motivational tool for myself and anyone else. At the very least you could just use the threads as bragging rights or something.Â
So I'll go first then.
In October: I'm planning on putting together and painting some 1:72 scale Afrika Korps and Adventurer models. As we speak I've got 13 Germans based and prepped for some paint. Within the week I should be getting some more figures in that scale to convert into some Square Jawed Heroes to take on the Reich. I plan by the end of October to have completed Twenty German Soldiers. If I have time I'll also paint up half a dozen Hero models and find some apropriate matchbox cars to convert.Â
I completed in November: Well nothing really.... I started on three different projects at once. Some true 25mm Fantasy Figures. A handful of Reaper Pirates and a Posse of 25mm Wild West minis.
If I had any pictures of my completed projects for September they would be here.

| Aside from all of the crochet stuff that I need to churn out for folks, I have some other patterns that I want to give a try, including a little dragon, a buddha, some fantasy-style finger puppets, and a regular moogle doll. Oh, and I need to finish the Companion Cube that I started months and months ago. I want to attempt to make it to painting night at the FLGS at least once this month so I can turn a Myconoid Guard into a strawberry cupcake. I also have a sick and twisted idea for making a crochet Caffeine molecule. Yes, I am that geeky.
I need to learn to function on 3 hours of sleep. Or corchet in my sleep, that'd be cool.

| Making a few more buildings for use in castle campaign (buildings for inside castle that RedSkullz is working on). Well, I am cheating by saying this is my project as my wife and I are doing it together. We have the outlines drawn into 1/8" MDF. She then cut them out. Next, we need to wipe off the saw dust and then use gorilla glue and clamps to finish.
Update:Â 10/23/08
My wife cut out and sanded the wood. I dusted it off (sawdust). I drew the grids on the roofs of all the buildings we had made previously. I will set up a thread to show pictures in Crafter's Corner if I can figure out how to do the direct links. The grid drawing took longer than I thought it would. We still need to glue the new buildings together.

| Our extra buildings we started working on are done except for finishing drawing grids on roofs. I may expand and add color prints on cardstock for doors and to make the walls look more realistic. But that would be another project. RedSkullz sent me graphics I can use to print that stuff with.

Thank you. I am now thinking about researching to see what the laws are regarding copyright expiration. Perhaps I can make a fantasy version of the game that is very close to the actual game instead of going through more extensive revision. Since they can't make the game anymore, maybe the copyright has lapsed.
