| Okay people, we're in the home stretch now of this big drama that's been playing on for months. If you watch FOX, it's a tight race with McCain closing in on Obama. If you watch CNN, Obama's has a sizable lead that will be difficult to overcome.
Does the Colin Powell thing really help Obama/hurt McCain?
Does Obama leaving the campaign to be with his grandmother give McCain momentum?

| I think the whole dog and pony show is just that. If people are still undecided then they didn't bother listening to any of the debates, reading any of the policy breakdowns, or sifting through either candidates voting records (which frankly, should be done every election so you know what you're buying).
Obama spending time with his grandma (who he has previously made rather unpleasant comments about) is mere show. Doesn't generate any sense of warm fuzzies.
McCain being behind in the polls is entirely his fault. He's run a mediocre campaign and has failed to press issues. Granted, Obama has run an almost identical campaign.
My favorite part in this whole drama is Joe Biden. The man really should never have been picked as a VP candidate. Every time he opens his mouth I wonder why Obama wasn't savvy enough to convince Hillary to run the VP slot.
Meh, I'm going on a politics hiatus. I voted early and frankly nothing anyone says is going to change anything at this point. Neither candidate is going to address the issues. Neither candidate is going to lay out policy plans in concrete terms. All that's left is two weeks of mud slinging.
Oh, and on a local note I voted for "Super" Dell Schanze (yes, he's seriously crazy but when the inmates are running the asylum anyway...). Anyone who actually has their name listed as "Super" Dell on the ballot in a gubernatorial race is too awesome not to back (plus our current governor is indescribably mediocre). | |

Most of the folks at school haven't spent a cent on 4.0 either. There's three or four websites / sharing programs they snagged the PDF's from. Me I prefer something solid to hold in my hands(and legal). I've just got the core rules, the screen and the Realms Player's guide.
Btw, for those mentioning Pailins assets.... Larry Flynt put out a movie recently with a Sarah Palin look-alike.
