With school starting again, I consider myself lucky to not be one of those poor parents who have to labor for hours after work going over schoolwork and homework with their little ones because they are struggling. I still have to police them and light a fire under their butts to get it done, well and on time, but that is a separate issue. ;) | |

| I'm with you. My oldest is just starting kindergarten now, and he's already well ahead of the curve. Thank goodness.
but in BC are you skip a grade? here you can't anymore i had a meeting with 1my sons SK teacher last year and they said that he is not getting anything out of the class as he is way ahead in reading and writing but since they can't skip he had to stay where he was i didn't like it very much

when i was a kid they did that here also but now the don't want to do that AND they also don't fail kids anymore because it stunts there social growth...
