| | There's buzz on the WotC boards and confirmation from Auggie that the release date for SWM KOTOR has been pushed back. *sigh* This set looks great, and I can't wait to get it in my hands. Wonder what is causing the delay. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| | hows saga play compared to other scifi games such as battle star gallactica. We have been playing gallactica and the rules are awful to sort through and game play seems clunky. i dont mind the delay as im only pumped for a few of these mins. its too bad they didnt tie the clone wars set with the movie. i'm looking forward to the movie, books and the mins for this series a lot more | | The ROCK layeth the smacketh down. | | I have nothing sci-fi to compare it to, other than Rifts... but, I like Saga alot. It's what I wish they would have done with D&D. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | I will say this: SW Saga Edition (SWSE) is my favorite system so far, hands down, of any genre.

Agree, wholeheartedly. If 4E was more similar to SWSE, it would have been even better.

I wonder why SWSE and 4E people didn't get together when they were developing all of this. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| I prefer gammaworld, but thats just the nostaliga in me. Paranoia would be better for one off games.
For a serious type scifi, it does a good job of capturing the herioc feel of the movies, and the rules flow pretty easy imo. The d20 and d6 version were also good, but saga is pleasently streamlined and just easy to play with.
Beats a lot of other systems I've played just for the feel and ease. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer."
