Yeah, Blessed hunter now charges with a smite for +16/+16 for a total of 70 damage and Save 12.

BAB +13/+13 +1 LMW, +2 charge = +16/+16 (Full Attacks Via Pounce)

First attack: 10 magic + 10 powerful charge + 10 smite evil. = 30 damage
Second attack: 10 magic + 10 rend + 10 for the CFX + 10 powerful charge = 40 damage
Total = 70 magic damage

All through allies and rought terrain thanks to acrobatic charge.

Full round of attacks are +14/+14 for 40 magic damage (loses the smite and powerful charge bonus)

Save 12
DR5
Immune to Electricity

Not bad for 47 points. Is it enough to make him playable??

Sorry for the double post but I was thinking.

Blessed Hunter (47pts) 70 damage charge + 40 c damage next round of attacks = 110 damage in 2 rounds, 150 in 3 rounds

Firegiant Forgepriest (84pts) 30 damage on a charge + 60 damage next round = 90 damage in 2 rounds, 150 in 3 rounds

you still have to consider Frogpriests higher atk bonuses.

yeah higher hp and AC but I still have 37 points for 94 points I have 2 Blessed Hunters.

The CFX is really good and he has some nice warband building. He´s not that cheap, though.

Are you completely sure about seven winds mage and the lion?Hum...this creature is decent without this effect so now is....a powerhouse (if this information is true).I praise it will be true because LG and CG are my favourite factions (I,m completely tired about triple balcks and ultro champs!).

Here's hoping that the commander effect actually grants rend +10 and not an unamed 10dmg bonus or is at least restricted to elementals and Magic beasts... Frenzied bersekers + wild elf warsinger for example...yuck...even more dmg over a three round spread...

all in all this guy is pretty great though... stout enough to tie a chrall to and they hit for +12/+12 for 40total with all thier coney/deathbursty/staying power...

and then thiers the dire bear...

ohoh the hierophant of the seven winds will be a beast, a monster a god. it´s too good but i play with LG and this is a bad new because it´s too powerful

CfX: Followers that hit with two attacks in the same turn get +10 damage on the second attack. Warband Building: Magical Beasts and Elementals of every alignment are legal.

Beastmaster: 10, Elementalmaster: 10, magical beasts get +4 to morale saves and other special abilities I can't remember.
Spells: Legions Magic Fang, cure moderate wounds, some 1st lvl spells.

Well, let's see.  First, a commander effect only works if the follower is within 6 of the commander.  So, charging away from the Hierophant won't grant the +10 damage.

There are many magical beasts and elementals that will be good for CG to have, this will be a nice change.  But, there's not much stacking love with the Warden of the Wood, so, pairing those two commanders won't help.  The Greenfang Druid's commander effect could work with magical beasts brought over by the Hierophant, so that's worth considering.  But, if you spend 97 points on commanders, you don't have much left for punching.  There may be some interesting combos with the Bonded Fire Summoner as well, but, the same issue of spending too much on commanders comes into play.

So, let's assume that the Hierophant is your only commander.  Level 10 is nice, and commander 3 is low, so, you aren't going to win map too often, and you are going to lose some key initiatives.  And, your commander routes on a 6 or lower.  With such a low AC, you need to be able to protect and/or buff the commander, and that requires spending some points on tech.

I don't see this as game-breaking.  Just another nice alternative.  A couple Shadowdancers can wipe the Hierophant away, and a few acid lines from Large Blacks are still a threat.  And, with so many pieces that cause elemental damage or are immune to elemental damage already, this just messes up your options in the meta a little more.

No big deal, just another nice option.

I agree Vrecknidj, I think that this wizard will be Tier 1 of FUN units... hehe but have interesting options for CG, we need to wait to see complete stats card.
