Question regarding invisibilty if I may.

Let's say my creature is invisible...and I am moving said creature forward towards my enemy...my enemy has a sight/area/radius 1 or 2 attack (tomebound arcanist confusion is a good example)...can my enemy target a square within radius of my invisible creature, utlimately hitting it anyway? This would seem unfair and unsportsmanlike to me.

I remember this being an issue in 1.0 with line effects...I do not remember the ruling.

Thanks in advance,

Micholi.

Invis no longer saves you... if the att targets reflex you do get conceal 11 and +2 ac however (I think; you may want to double check that).

Rock Bottom Pricing:
Arcane Archer 30, Centaur Hero 67, Human Cleric of Bane 25, Gold Champion 34, Death Knight 52, Goblin Blackblade 9, Silentwolf Goblin 7, Orc Raider 10, Dwarf axefighter 9, Healer 9, Thaskor 65, Aspect of Demogorgon 71, Ogre 9, Fire Giant 79, Human Wanderer 7, Drunken Master 18, Barghest 12, Longstider Barbarian 27, Longtooth Barbarian 22, Frost Giant 76, Ravenous Vampire 42, Large Earth Elemental: priceless

From Definitions: Invisible gives you Conceal 11, which doesn't protect against area or close attacks. Conceal helps against melee and ranged, but in this case, ranged is already prohibited by Invisible.

Well, if attack targets AC or REF you might get cover.

Ranged burst attacks target a square, not a creature, so yes, the TBA can blast invisible creatures.

(A quirky situation exists if the range of the burst attack is "nearest"; then the nearest visible enemy has to be within the burst effect; so unless your invisible guy is standing to close to the nearest *visible* guy, he's safe from those kinds of attacks. The Emerald Orb Wizard is the most notable example of this quirk.)
