After buffs you have a 2x +17 for 20 and dazed sight att... that's nice... when melee comes around you have the Autodmg skullcleave, the nice EB with defender and in two acts 12x +19 for 15dmg atts thanks to arms of the marilith... they are glass cannons for sure with 50hp but that's what the merchant guards are for! | |

| Ok, I'll take your cheatery EB/Skullcleave Demonbinder warband (which honestly doesn't NEED a Demonbinder, it's just a golden combo as is..) and raise you one Skyfire Captain. Sadly the EB isn't legal in my neck of the woods, but until I sort out a better way to boost the Demonbinder's damage, what must be must be.

...and there's a few points left over.
Here's the thing:
The Skyfire Captain can use his champ power to recharge the Demonbinder's Arms of Marilith attack. His other ability will let you increase the damage output of the Binder, which stacks with the Eternal Blade's boost. So against an optimal target you're doing 6 attacks at 20 damage, or at least 6 attacks at 10 damage each if it's the wrong creature type. And with the skyfire captain recharging the attack, it means you can get up to 4 uses of it as long as the Demonbinder is still standing. Which is likely with the Merchant Guard over population.  Don't forget about the Orc Wardrummer, who will give the Demonbinder yet another +5 damage against Bloodied targets...which might even just kick in in the middle of her Arms of Marilith move, pushing the damage up to 25 per hit in optimal conditions.Â
It's not optimal and I need to sort out a boost that ISN"T an Eternal Blade, but I've been looking forward to a piece like this for a while. The Skyfire's Recharge Champ power has been looking good for a while and there just hasn't been too many pieces that could benefit.
Of course I think we're going to see some improved Drow Synergy with the new set. Already teaming the Demonbinder with the 2 from Desert of Desolation means it could be doing 6 attacks at 15 damage. But I'll hold off on drow brainstorming until I see the rest of Demonweb.

| | Skyfire capt came to mind immediately too... the extra +2 att and +5 dmg is just too good with all those high ac's out there... I would like there to be a better option than the EB but too often still there isn't. I do love the recharge; i would play him all day if it could recharge BW's. | |

| You can get universal boost (not limited to Keyword as in She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named) by first giving Lyrandar's Fiery Weapon (+5 fire melee and ranged) and then having Eye of Flame in your band (+2 attack)Â Â B)
Boosts Lyrandar's bow too, by the way.
