| This trade is now completed, but it took some effort on my part to get Tactician to send. Once I got ahold of Tactician he was pleasent to deal with and agreed to send promptly. I recommend being cautious about future trades with Tactician. Should we ever trade again, I'll likely ask him to send first.
On 3/13/06 Tactician and I agreed to a modest-sized trade with simultaneous shipping. I sent my end on 03/14. According to the DC# (0305 0830 0002 5017 4266) Tactician received on 3/17. He has not emailed me to confirm receipt of these minis nor has he updated the trade interface to reflect this. During this time Tactician was banned from Maxminis for reasons unknown to me.
As of today (3/27) I still have not received my end of our trade. I've sent him several emails to check in, but so far I haven't received a response. In fact, I haven't received any communication from him since I shipped my end of our trade. Because of the length of time, lack of communication and the ban, I suspect that this trade has failed. I'll certainly post again to update if anything changes.
Edit 3/29: I have heard from Tactician via email, but it's not clear how he intends to resolve this trade. It looks like his account has been unlocked by the powers that be.
Edit 3/31: No word from Tactician since 3/28.
Edit 4/4: I have been in contact with Tactician and it sounds like he's resent to myself and several other people. More information, including DC#s can be found on the Disputed Trades thread.
Edit 4/11: I received my end of our trade and all is well. It took some time and effort but this trade worked out in the end. | |
