| | I want to report a bad trade that I had with Tactician. We agreed on a trade on 2/22/06. We both mailed out at the same time. When I received my package on 3/5/06 it was missing 6 of the minis. I emailed him on 3/6/06 about it and he said he would mail them out the next day. I emailed him again on 3/15/06 because I still had not received any minis nor an confirmation that he had mailed them out. I have since emailed him on 3/20/06 and 3/27/06 and have not received any further emails from him. We have traded before and it went smoothly. Just don't know what happened with this one. | |

i sent my end of the trade on the 13th of march and from my dc he had gotten them on the 18th of march
the dc he gave me has no record
he emailed back saying that he was to talk to the post office on wednesday the 29th to find out the problem, before that he emailed me saying that his word is golden and that 80 plus trades says it all and that i will get my minis
allthough that was on sunday the 26th that he emailed me back saying this he has yet to return any of my emails since sunday the 26th
he owes me some $250.00 in trade
please add me to the list of disputed trades

That is also the same behavior shown on several occasions by Cha0tic g0od. Non-existent DC's; receiving packages with confirmed DC's and claiming he hasn't yet; and needing to sort out problems with his post office. | |

My trade was Snig Worg Rider x2 - 2 in trade talks, War Troll -in trade talks and a Warforged Barbarian for the huge Gold Dragon from the Giants of Legend. If needed I can provide the delivery confirmation # to validate my part of the trade (delivered 3/27/06). I've tried emailing numerous times for an update but haven't received any replies. P.S. other than this "misunderstanding" you have a GREAT site!

| Well, I have never had a bad trade until this one, and I've held out long enough. I'm sorry to have to give Steel Pred a bad trade. We agreed to the trade on January 10th. On January 12th he told me he shipped his end out via Canda post after I told him I shipped my end out that day.
A month later I PM'ed & emailed him, no response. Finally on February 19th he PMed me saying he received the minis I shipped and he said he would ship his end on Feb 24th (so he lied to me when he said he shipped via Canadapost on Jan 12th).
It's been longer than a month since I last heard from him & I still haven't received my minis. No responses after my PM's & emails.
He owe's me a Displacer Beast, Umber Hulk, & Large Air Elemental. I gave up a Huge Red Dragon with a bunch of other rares for these. This was a really big trade and I'm pretty ticked off. I don't mind real life issues holding up a trade, but unless you're dead, I DO mind when it's been 3 months. I also really don't like being lied to and given the run-around. There is no excuse for this. | |

i got his end of the trade via priority mail
a couple of the minis i got were in less than great shape but am just happy to see them
for those of you waiting on items from tactitian he is trying to get all his ducks in a row
sometimes life happens and you can't help but be patient

| Unfortunately I have to add pesti69 (Bryan) as a unresolved and very suspect trader. I made a trade for uncommons and commons much in his favor because I was trying to finish off my needs. I actually didn't go through the interface because I couln't locate his user name and he wouldn't really give me much information on responses to help. I figured that I would take the chance and just go ahead with the trade considering it didn't involve any big minis.
I sent the minis and since my last contact where he said he was sending as well, have never gotten another response from him. My minis were sent about 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive his nor get any response to the 5 or so emails I have sent asking him what the status was?
Until I get some response or receive the minis I would beware of this individual. The trade was sent to Sherwood, AR just in case he tries to come on with another user name.
It just amazes me to think that he was only sending me a frost dwarf, karnathi zombie and large duergar and he is willing to risk his reputation as a trader for just a few minis!! I actually sent him (5) Howling Orcs, Goblin Underboss and a Fiendish Girrilon.
Very sad. It seems that whenever I try to have faith in a new trader and send simultaneously they screw me. I am not saying all, but more often than not. Just don't get it.

| | I have a disputed trade also with dj-chuckles. It seems that only I and Anaxagoras are the only ones who need packages from him. Its been over a month since him and I hammored out a deal, I sent the mini, he still hadnt sent the epic cards and fixed Broken Demongate map. Then we negotiated a deal for him to send the ones he owes me and a few Aspect of Nerull epics. To this day still havent seen anything. Even with financial troubles, to send the packages that he owes couldnt cost more than $5. If all he owes Anaxagoras is an epic card, heck he could send it in an envelope and thats only 38 cents. He owes me some cards and a map, but in a big envelope it would come out pretty cheap. So maybe $3 is more realistic. At this point not sure if I'll ever get em. | |

| I want to bring to the attention of the entire forum that there are two userid's, Yo Hon and Dark Lord, that are falsifying claims on my reference thread that I have stiffed them on trades. I have all of the documentation of my contact with Yo Hon where he agreed to a trade with me, then backed out once I was unwilling to trade him a Beholder. I have had no contact with Dark Lord whatsoever.

Apparently Yo Hon and Dark Lord were the same person. Ckissee provided email evidence that no trade had ever occurred between him and either account. In retaliation, Dark Lord began spamming ckissee's reference thread so ChristopherGroves permanently locked both accounts. When attempting to delete Dark Lord's posts, ChristopherGroves inadvertently deleted ckissee's entire reference thread. | |

On another issue, how many people are waiting for a response from Ironfist Boulderbender? He posted in the DDM Trading threads about being very busy with work and not being able to make it to the post office, but I was curious just how many of us are waiting for him to ship, and am I the only one getting a really bad feeling about this (after shipping out over $100 worth of stuff to him)? | | | |

I've been waiting for a good while. Our trade was around $100 as well. I shipped on 3/27 and he received on 3/29. On 3/26 he told me he was going to try and ship the next day, but it may be a couple of days due to a slight financial bind. On 4/3 I wrote him to see if he had sent yet and the next day he replied with an "Oops, I thought I missed one when I sent minis last week" and said he would ship 1st thing in the morning and throw in some "goodies". 4/7 indicated on the interface that minis had been shipped. 4/16 He writes to see if I had received yet and said that someone that worked at the post office had been stealing outgoing packages and he would resend them on 4/17.
Then came the forum post. I didn't really have a lot of concern, as it just seemed like a bad run of luck, until after the post office theft wasn't mentioned in his forum post. I remain hopeful that I will still get my minis as he has still been communicative.

I have to say, I'm trying to hold on to good faith too, and I know how bad luck and the nuances of daily life can get in the way of trading, but it is really looking like a bunch of us are getting screwed here. It seems like he's got a dozen excuses for not sending to everyone. He's telling you about someone at the post office stealing stuff, he's got a new job which doesn't allow him the time to ship, etc. You are the third person I have heard from who has shipped him $100 or more worth of stuff and have yet to recieve their end. Does anyone else want to sound off on this one?
You know what? Lab Monkey, could you please put me down as having a complaint about Ironfist Boulderbender. As of right now, I think he is terrible trader and do not reccomend any one trade with him. As soon as I get my stuff I'll issue a correction, but right now, I'm pissed. | | | |
