Below is a compiled list of problem trades taken from the old ‘disputed trades’ threads. It is to serve as a general reference on outstanding problem trades. If your name appears on the list below, it does not necessarily mean you are considered a ‘bad trader’. This list only states that you have at least 1 trade in dispute with another member. If you have a disputed trade, post on this thread and I'll add it to the list. Please do not email me to report a dispute. It's much better to have the problem out in the open rather than explained only to me. Disputes are listed in alphabetical order by trader name. The traders the disputes are with are also listed in alphabetical order. Quotes are taken from what Zenako had listed on the trade data list. Trades that have been acknowledged as resolved will be eliminated from this list. When a disputed trade is successfully resolved, it is important that you let the community know on the disputed trades thread! Please keep the level of discussion on this thread to a miniumum. The purpose of this thread is to report factual trade disputes with other members. If you want to discuss the situation further, please feel free to do so on another thread (without making personal attacks). I recommend posting a link to discussion threads here to help other members follow the situation. I will regularly delete extraneous posts from this thread. Finally, Please Note: There are many Maxminis members with similar ID names and this has led to some confusion. Please check carefully. On 11/17 Dragonhorde25 sent me a trade proposal of my Roper and Dreagloth for his Iron Golem and Thri-Kreen Barbarian. On 11/27 he updated the trade to say he had shipped his end. So on 11/29, I shipped mine using the post office. My DC # is 0305 2200 0001 2291 4531. According to usps.com it arrived on 12/3. I have not received anything from him and he has not responded to any of my emails. tallcar24

I really hate to do this, but it looks like my trade with Litorian is a wash. We agreed to a trade late last month, and I sent my end on Nov 22. I've gotten no response to the few emails I sent him, and he's completely dropped from the IRC Dragonlance game he's been running for more than year. Should I hear anything from him, I'll be sure to update the thread.

This is the first of two complaints: Wraith and I agreed to a simul-ship deal back on November 22rd. I shipped the next day and he said he did the same. He checked that he received on December 22nd and did not even leave a feedback on the interface. I still do not possess his minis, while he has my Marut and probably sold it for 20$ US on eBay... As to emails, he only answered me once out of at least 5 times and did not even offer to check if he could find any information. I was robbed :(

I would like to list a disputed trade with Wraith. We agreed to a trade on the 11th of Dec. I shipped on the 12th and he claimed he did also but he did not include a DC# which I specifically asked him to. On the 21st, after an email asking for a DC# again, he replied about the package being crushed in the mail and returned and that he would send it back out. Again I requested a DC# the next day and again 5 days ago. Still no package and no response from him. He did however make an ebay purchase off of me in that time frame through Wraithchampion Superstore.

I have had a long outstanding trade with Allen Turley (Ironfist Boulderbender) for what might be a year or longer. Anyways, just yesterday I received an email from him stating that he would like to rectify our outstanding trade! I had lsited him as a bad trader and I know others also have outstanding trades with him as well. He has informed me that he is trying to make right on all his trades and has told me that on Tuesday he will be sending me out all the owed minis as well as a bunch of repaints/promos to make up for the problem. I asked what had happened and he said it was due to some medical bills and also just not having all the stuff. I guess a screw-up on his end. Anyway, I will keep you posted as to if this gets rectified. I had been scammed by 3 people and over the last few months 1 has fixed the problem and now 1 more might actually come through and send me minis to compensate for what I thought was a lost trade. Yes, I understand that it doesn't make things completely right, but at least they are trying to fix the problem. It is better than me never getting the minis. Just wanted all to know. I am sure Kong will never come through and rectify his trade.

Give me more MIND FLAYERS!

While i am here, i need to report that Cragger has gone MIA. I sent him a figure in return for some custom clear figures he was making. It was an informal trade, but a trade. His last visit was the 13th and he hasn't returned. I don't want to say anything bad, but over a month is easily enough time for me to be upset. I have no problems (it is possible he is still on vacation or winter break) at the moment, but at least want to post something.

OK, another week has gone by with no sign of minis and no communication whatsoever (despite my continued efforts), so I'm going to declare my current trade with Mixmaster bad. I hope that it'll get resolved soon. I sent the minis on December 28th, at the same time as another trade (which was successfully concluded last week).

Wow, I've never felt this relieved in a long time when a large package containing 160$+ worth of figs finally arrived. [:D] It was definitely from BigFON, but strangely enough there was no return address on the package. I'm happy though that he came through. Whew. Thank you. I hope that's good news for the other guys (kyrin, etc.) who are still waiting from him.

I am making a deal with him that he sends back my Large Fire as a sign of good faith. When he settles things and return, i will be able to vouch for him, and then i will send the Large Fire back to him so that we may continue our trade arrangement. Yeah I did and he responded. Here's the deal... * I told him to let me know what he thinks should happen. * Being on the disputed trades list doesn't make you an evil person ... nor does it indicate INTENT of the person to make a bad trade. Shipping problems, live, etc. can interrupt to make a trade (not trader) go bad ... and thus the list. * I have no problem with him trading here; I do think folks should be cautious and ask him to send first possibly. * I don't think he's a scammer, just a guy that had a rough period.

Well, according to the thread he's resending the missing item(s) to thenameless from their trade. He was supposed to send me (in July of 2004 ... that's right 18 months ago) Displacer Beast x2, Bright Naga, Lion Falcon Monk, Gnome Recruit x3. I'm not entirely certain he has two DBeasts and an LFM he can trade anymore. Not sure how it will fall out, however it does look like there is some movement.

I sent an e-mail to Van Hoo III 2 days ago (After 25-30 emails sent), and received an e-mail. He wanted my address to ship the mini. I sent him my address and will let you know what happens.

BigFON here, I screwed up on my last round of trades and have left several people hanging. I apologize to NixLord, Kryin, Kritter and jscifert for the extended lack of communication and the delays in these deals. I found NixLords missing Death Sladd card and am mailing it, along with Kryin and jscifert's packages tommorrow via Airmail and 2-3 day priority mail. I have contacted them and sent the traking information for the packages. I have no excuses, just screwed up on this round of trading. I also would like to apologize to the community at large as there is enough bad mojo as it is. Respectfully, Jason Collins

Still no sign of Mixmaster on the boards, and no sign of minis in the mail. If my minis were returned to sender by the USPS, they would have reached me by now (over two months). I shall try to contact him via e-mail again tomorrow, and I'll send a regular letter as well (maybe something happened to him IRL and he was unable to complete the trade?).
