Am I vindicated? Perhaps!

No.  They announced they were doing mounted minis in the set before you made your called shot.  If you had called it before they made that announcement, then you would very likely be vincidated.

Riderless horse in Desert o' Desolation...?

NO No NO!

The horse is not unique, so is nameless?

Swell.

Because WotC sends us information like 'Thanks for running a successful Night Below pre-release.  We're now starting sign-ups for the next one, here's the info sheet'. And the info sheet contains this information...

I'd give it to him. There wasn't any information about specific mini's in the anouncement about the mounted rules. It stands to reason that there would be a horse or mount of some kind but it wasn't specifically anounced.

It's a little sketchy - like calling a skeleton in Deathknell or a mind flayer in Abberations - but who cares? There aren't any prizes given out for being right. If Teflon Jeff puts "Vindicated Champion of the Horse" in his signature who is it going to hurt?

Yes, congratulations, you called a horse in the set we were told would have rules for horses. Your prescience is astounding. There is also a drow in the next Drizzt book. :)

Wll, it all depends If it's called warhorse, I wouldn't vindicate myself. I expected just a horse not a warhorse. So I may be wrong still...
