| The post Logan Bonnar's blog is where this likley snippet of specualtion from MarioCleanstuff comes from, and I'm just reposting as it is from the not so often looked at 4th edition forum.
Logan: IÂ was working on one of the Monster Manual V monsters currently slated for DDM set 17, and I looked at it's entry. My thought process went something like this:
Wait. It's role isn't written down here. What is this guy supposed to do?
Is 53 hit points a lot?
Wait. I have to look up a feat? Why does this guy even have feats?
MarioCleanStuff:
Well, I can say without a doubt that the creature is the Shardsoul Slayer. It is the only creature in the book with 53 HP, and it has the Powerful Charge feat to look up, so I'd say this is pretty conclusive evidence. Those with the book can find it on page 150. Pic via wraithborne :)

Personally, I think they look decent. They're meant to function in groups, but they're CR 5. My guess is Uncommon. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian

| Looks Mezzolothy to me. Still, not a bad uncommon and certainly not the worst of the retarded new monsters in the recent MMs.

| | Meh. Don't like it. As for it's appearance, I'm wondering if it will be in the Huge set after DDR. I guess I'll post it there if anywhere, but I don't know what to call that set yet, guess I'll just use the wotc method and call it set #16. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. It's clearly stated in the blog that it'll be in set 17. It's quite a long way off. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian | |

| w00t!!!! I got credit and all I did was snatch the pic from WotC's site
Not sure I'd have much use for it, but it would depend on what the mini looked like and rarity. Maybe a couple as an Unc, definitely zero as a rare. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang

| Its only current slated for #17 too - it might get moved around a bit, or even dropped.
Is it a medium or large? | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | It's medium.
I would like it more if it weren't a construct. That, or if it looked more constructy. Maybe the mini will be somewhat different than the illustration. | | Champion of the Revenant Knight of the Elf Duskblade Complete Trades: Oni, Kidkach, Melrune, callidusx3

I have no idea why I missed the "17". Must have been the excitement of just seeing another potential mini.Â
So set 14 is DoDesolatio, set 15 DoDread, set 16 a huge set, and then finally set 17 about 1 year from now. I'm still wondering why such an advance notice.Â
