The redcloak looks great! Will be useful for rpg for sure.
Bugbear is more average but good to rotate into the mob.
Skull lord.... will wait to see it, but probably a rare I could skip. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | The redcloak is an excellent human archer. I am very pleased with this as a common.
I don't like the bugbear--the weapon is WAY oversized. Proportions of weapon to creature are too cartoony.

| Redcloak is a decent sculpt. Will fill in nicely in siege battles as generic defenders.
The Bugbear loves you THIS much
I would like a skull lord. The sculpt looks pretty decent although paint-wise it's suffering from 4-color-rare syndrome. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? | The Redcloak looks nice. I will buy a few of them.
Not sure about the bugbear. Like Corim said, it just looks out of proportions. I just had a look at my Monster Manual about the second bugbear which is going to be a bugbear strangler. If they use the artwork in the book for the mini, it'll be a female bugbear armed with a cord to strangle.
The Skull Lord is one of the most anticipated minis in the set for me. An awesome mini for the RPG. YAY! | | Champion of Regis | |

| I like this preview. All three of these figures work for me.
The Sharn Redcloak is nicely executed for a mere common. I will want these in high numbers.
The Bugbear Warrior has a dynamic pose that suggests that it's coming at you with bad intentions.
The Skull Lord is the type of innovation I like to see. It may not be a core monster from the 3.0 Monster Manual, but if a DM were to plunk this down in front of the PC's, it would probably make most players ooh and ah the first time they saw it.

The Archer will fit in with my Militia Archers from one of the earlier sets. The Bugbear is nice and beefy looking. I've always loved the Skull Lord, ever since I saw it in the Creature Compendium II.

The Redcloak is a awsome common. +10 dam for allies falnking with this creature. Wow. Stacks with an Oni's Sneak Attacj ability.Â
Another Bugbear. Looks ok. And I guess the new 4.0 needs its Bugbears.Â
The Skull Lord is pretty decent. Really helps Undead. And Undead are looking like a very viable warband.Â

| This week in Demonweb, the three miniatures we're showing include one common, one uncommon, and one rare. Sharn Redcloak The Sharn Redcloak is a simple common archer inspired by the Redcloak Battalion, an elite fighting force that served in the Last War. Now that the war has ended, one unit of the Redcloak Battalion has been assigned to Sharn, the city of towers found in the Eberron campaign setting. The miniature itself is extremely utilitarian -- a male human with a bow. I can't think of a more useful common human archer in the history of the D&D Miniatures line. In groups, they are great for town militia, bandits, or hired mercenaries. |
Bugbear Warrior A Dungeon Master always has a need for bugbear fighters -- bugbears are one of the goblinoid races, and you can't have too many of those. The Bugbear Warrior is a typical bugbear brute armed with a large morning star and ready to smash things into dust. This is one of two Uncommon bugbears in the set. People familiar with the 4th Edition Monster Manual might be able to determine what the other bugbear in Demonweb is called … |
Skull Lord This creature was invented in Monster Manual V for 3rd Edition before making the transition to 4th Edition. Many monsters get tougher as a fight progresses, but the Skull Lord is just the opposite. For the roleplaying game, every time it "dies," its hit points are reset to full but one of its skulls is destroyed. It's a bit like fighting three 40-hit-point creatures in one three-headed package. Each skull has a different power usable as a minor action, so as players beat down the Skull Lord, it slowly loses its powers. See you next week! |

| | I actually want all 3. I can't remember the last time I said that, but this is easily the best preview since Night Below. The Skull Lord is nifty, though I'll have to do a little highlighting on his cloak. His paint is again lacking for a rare. Prolly have to put some details on the Redcloak as well, but that can be expected on a common. Solid Preview. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang

| I would have liked the bugbear to have a different weapon, perhaps a spear or sword (maces are to bugbears, what hammers are to dwarves I guess). It's ok though, I'm looking forward to seeing the other bugbear.

| The archer and bugbear are great for RPG. You can never have too many militia figs or goblinoids.
The skull lord has some potential. I like that his WB is identical to the DK but that his faction is underdark. There are a lot of non evil undead in underdark that the DK could not utilize. this way you can use the SL to pull the DK into underdark instead.

| Think all three are top notch and I usually am not that positive on the previews. The redcloak is perfect for a common. Everyone can use an archer which isn't elven.Â
At first when I read that there was another bugbear I was a little dismayed. However, upon seeing the sculpt I am very pleased. I have always loved the bugbear footpad and this guy reminds me of them.Â
Finally you can never be disappointed with a great undead sculpt different than what we already have. Additional skeletons are ok, but when one has three skulls and looks like something which will really throw fear into your players eyes then I am 100% for it.Â

| Thanks. Refreshing did wonders (lol). I also noticed the picture of the bugbear strangler, and I am really hoping that the head won't be dangling from her belt, as we already have a bugbear headreaver that is only situationally useful.

| Hi Everyone,
I like the archer. It is a good pose.
I like the Skull Lord. I agree with Wraith though, as it could use some highlighting. A wash would not be bad for it either.
Another Bugbear with a Mace or Morning Star and with arms spread out wide! Lots of Bugbears is OK, but IMHO they have not surpassed the Bugbear from GOL.
The more compact pose fits on my battle maps better.
Later,

| As far as the actual piece of plastic goes, I like the archer the most and the Skull Lord the least. I don't really have a use for the Skull Lord in RPG.
I rather like the Bugbear's pose, but it may be a bit unwieldy at the table.

| | The bugbear is unfortunate, as it kind of looks cool (well, except for oversized weapon). But The arms being outstretched is going to cut down its RPG utility. It is the gang leader that makes me recognize the problems with outstretched arms on bugbears, as they don't even fit into my container with all my other bugbears. I do like the body size of the new bugbear (ignoring the arm problem). | | "Look to God and live." Alma 37:47 Vindicated Champ of Hippogriff (Arcadian Hippogriff) and Uncommon Horse | |
