| What's up with the dire rat in the Against the Giants miniatures? In all the internet pictures I've seen, it looks like some bizarre mutant with only one huge eye. Can someone who owns one of these post a picture of it. I'm hoping it looks better than what I've been led to believe.

| I guess it could be a horn... looks like it's right where the eyes should be though.
I need some cheap rat mini's but I'd prefer they look relatively normal.

| I can't get a picture currently as I'm at work, but I can confirm that the 'eye' is actually a horn on his nose...WoTC isn't known for their uber ninja gallery photo skillz.
Having said that, the rat isn't as bad in-hand, though the upright pose, and the 'arms' being a bit long make it look more like a wererat than a dire rat.

| The new dire wolf was a huge improvement in that they had removed all those silly looking horns from it.
I wish they had gone the same route with the rat. The horns are simply a case of the old shark with a gun for a mouth, and they make it look cartoony rather than scary. I would have preferred the latter. | |

Oh, and I got a few of the new dire rats in yesterday. I think they look great. Would have been better w/o the skunk stripe and a lighter paint scheme (like brown or a dirty grey). Overall I like it though. | |

Those are the biggest ones out of the three. I got some of the AtG rats in the other day and really like them. They are the smallest so far, and they will fit in nicely with the Dire Rats, Diseased Dire Rats and Rat Swarms I already have.
