well a new set is supposedly coming out and i wonder if theres still 30% of the original audience left and if anyone new would think to join in.

i tried it when it came out and traded almost all i had before it fell through.

my biggest problems was that the sizes of the minis varied greatly with no racial equlibruim. one human would be the size of a DDMini the next would be twice the size. the monsters faction had good mini proportions side by side. witch was the only faction i cared to use anyway.

at launch it was hyped about how well sculpted and how many paint steps would be used. the sculpts were very good but paint was better than demonweb but failed the hype.

gererally i figured it would be hard to take world of warcraft and turn it into a minis game with out reverting to the original warcraft 1 for pc (basicly copying warhammer again!)

the game turned out pretty good playwise but just lacks the umph DDM has had and still musters up(stat wise) even when the mini is crap.

theres more to say but overall i just assume play DDM over warhammer/40k, WOWminis, Hordes/Warmachine

DDM starts up fast, plays hard, and gets shoved out of site in no time. unlke most other table top games.
witch most people dont consider DDM
