What happens when two ships with tractor beam move next to eachother?

The moving one stops.
Next turn, either could move away. But it might not get very far...

The wierd thing about tractor beams in this game is that they only stop you moving past an enemy. If you move directly away, they have no effect. If they worked that way in the films. Han could have got away from the Death Star just by turning the Falcon around. All that messing around with disabling the tractor beams was irrlevant.
