| So what do you think about the sculpt / paint quality of the new set? I feel the scult / paintjobs are still up to snuff. I didn't even mind the Gungan minis I pulled. The clear plastic on the sheilds and weapons looks nice. I got the non-Jar-Jar unique Gungqan as well, his CFX is realy realy evil...... The sith look nice overall, I'm digging the variety in Troopers. It's nice they didn't do any rescults of the generic sith troopers. Speaking of trooper re-sculpts, is this the first set with no stormtroopers? | | | Pathetic Earthlings. | The paint jobs were above average on the 4 boosters I bought. Scaling continues to be an issue, though; Obi-Wan is a misproportioned giant in this set while Mission Vao is almost halfling sized. But I bought the boosters hoping to get some of the droids and a few cool npc figures, so I'm pleased over all.

| Nope, iirc the Clone set had Clone Trooper, but no stormtroopers. | | Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | Did Legacy of the Force have any stormtroopers or clone troopers (yes if the Shadow Stormtrooper counts)? | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| Mission Vao is supposed to be small. She is a teenage girl. Maybe not quite that small. I think overall the quality is very good especially the c/u. some of the rares and Very rares could use some work. Especially zaalbar.  he looks like poo. | | | |

| The jawa actually is small, just a stupid medium base. I dont know if it was cheaper or what. It does seem to make him look huge, but sit him next to other pieces and he may be just a tad big, but not terrible. | | | |

| the paint jobs seem to have a lot of detail and a lot of models seem to be on the skinny side. MY death star droid is gold? anyone recomend a good paint for him. shouldnt he be silver or another metallic? | | The ROCK layeth the smacketh down. | I think he was gold in the CG movie... but, yeh, they're usually silver iirc. | | Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | Well, looks like I am getting my KOTOR package from Auggie next week, so I will let you know then.
I did get a booster on release day and noticed the Elite Sith Trooper was rather rubbery/bendy. The sculpts and paint jobs were good to great as normal. | | Originally posted by Schooly_D Username - he deals in minis Champion of Lhesh Haruuc Shaarat'kor | |

| The quality of KotoR is decent, I liked a lot of these minis, loved getting so many droids, hoping for more! Except Mission, her feet are so close together that she's bent right over on her side, her sculpt is subpar and her paint job is horrid. | | Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | I was very happy with the quality of the KOTOR minis, although I did get a few bent and scratched cards - no doubt due to the Boma. The Gungan Shieldbearer is very good, as is the Elite Wookiee Warrior, excellent sculpts. | | "No disintegrations? Yeah right!" - Bail Ohmar, Warriors of Gar Sithspawn's Lair - www.ugavine.com | |
