The art and cards for the medusa archer and bonechill chimera were shown. I'm hoping someone that gets the insider can get us luddites a pic or 2.

From my understanding it's a regular Chimera with a White Dragon head.

Yeh, I'm waiting, I got nothing so far.

I don't have an Insider account, so, I secretly am pleased to see the stats and images. But, I have submitted this thread to Host in case this is a copyright violation. I don't want WotC having a reason to come after Maxminis.

Chmera should be on the outside of the box? Easy to avoid getting more than if that. I would have preferred th Clash of the Titans medusa. hpefully this oneis better than the first 2

That artwork is pretty nice. I guess the good thing is we already have DDM stat cards for both of these.

I wonder how high the % of re-sculpts are going to be in these new sets.

Bone chill chimera... a resculpt that could be better; how about a white rams head and a Siberian tiger? Now there's a bone chill chimera

Any Clash of the Titans monsters would be sweet.

I like the sketches. Hopefully a lot of that detail makes it into the minis.

I didn't buy much Wardrums, so the Chimera would be useful for me, and I have plenty of uses for the Medusa.

EDIT: Am I the only person who just developed a real craving to use a half-illithid medusa in their game? X-D

Why do you feel it would be a Visible mini? I would think it would be a rare, due to the complexity and number of parts.

Concept art looks pretty nice on both. Let's see if the minis can live up to the hype.

I think that the first set likely will. What I'm really curious about is how long it will take for quality to decline again.

arent the large pieces on the visible portion of booster. That was my thought on the Chimera.

I think the visibles were going to be large "uncommon equivalencies". I think and hope they make this chmera a rare, so we can finally have a decently painted chimera.

love the idea of having a nice white dragon chimera... new medusa is ok with me, not high on the wish-list.

All of the Visible minis will be large, but presumably there will be large rares as well.

Well guys, it is as I had guessed in my previous post.  Let me comment thus (I have read Greyhaze's response on his site):

1) The free advertising argument isn't that strong because the percentage of people who view the boards compared to the sum of all of WotC's paying customers is probably pretty small.

2) That said, this also means that the threat of leaks causing damage is pretty low.

3) All told, however, this isn't about leaks or advertising, I think.  It's about ownership.  I am the author of several articles.  I would be displeased if others copied and pasted my content without my permission whether or not I or they profited from it.

4) The way to proceed, then, is to go ahead and display stuff that we have permission to display.  If you think you have something that won't be permitted, contact a Maxminis moderator or Host, or write to Peter Lee and ask what that person thinks.

We don't want legal action taken against Maxminis, but, that's really a few steps away.  More importantly, we don't want a bad relationship.  Now is the time to mend the problems, not exacerbate them.

I understand the want/need to keep products and artwork which are being shown only to a select paying crowd hidden, because you wish to see them happyily satisfied knowing they have access to something others do not. However, at this time, it seems the majority of buyers I know, Rpg and DDMers alike are wanting to see what wizards is doing. So as the "Paying customers" goes, When I buy a case or two a set, and want to know if my money will be going to you or one of your competitors for figures, it boils down to the question of whos figures best represent my needs for the cost they are asking.

So what I really mean is, I would be fully happy if the paid members recieved some information, but I believe the majority of your customers who are sitting waiting to see the direction the product is going aren't paying for the priviliged information. I myself being a student and having to actually save money to buy cases can't afford even minor expenses without sacrifices. So, a release of two sets of information may be the required action. Give the paid subscribers more, like an extra art sheet here, and their continued 4e stuff, but keep your other consumers happy.  I don't like sitting in the dark solely on the fact that you want the $5 customers to feel special, as it is insulting to think my $125 cases I buy mean nothing.
